Food Blog 1: Jiaqi http://acorn-alacarte.livejournal.com/ Her daily energy requirement is 1954 kcal, but her average intake per day is 2934 kcal. This means that she eats too much food that are high in carbohydrates and energy. She should exercise more to burn off the unnecessary energy taken. Her diet is unbalanced, as instead of carbohydrates being a main part of her meals, the main part is made up of other sources. . She was not getting enough calcium and I recommend her to eat more food with a high level of calcium, preferably from a variety of sources. Food Blog 2 : Clara http://clarafoodpt.blogspot.com/ Energy- 56% Carbohydrate- 52% Sodium- 246% Clara consumed only about half of the required energy and carbohydrate, and she has an large excess intake of sodium. As Clara is in a sports CCA, her intake of energy and carbohydrate should be higher. I recommend her to eat more food at the bottom of the food pyramid, which is rice and bread etc. She should also cut down on food that are high in salt, as it might cause health problems. She should also try having a more balanced diet, trying to eat more fruit and vegetables, preferably from different sources of food. Food Blog 3 : Shuyun http://allaboutgluttony.blogspot.com/ Sodium - 259% Calcium - 30% Shuyun exceeded her daily sodium intake, which may cause her heart problems and related health problems like hypertension or high blood pressure which will increases the risk of stroke and heart attacks. I suggest her to reduce her salt intake by trying flavouring foods with natural seasonings or cutting down on salt and sauces. She has only 30% of calcium in her diet and this is unhealthy because it may cause her bones to become weak and brittle. I advise her to eat more food high in vitamin D and calcium like milk.
